Though I grew up overseas, New York City is my inherited hometown. Anytime we’d travel back to the United States for holidays, we would always fly in to visit family. For that reason, I immediately volunteered to travel with Mount Ararat’s Branch young adults group to support New City Church as they hosted their annual Carnival.
