Sometimes the hardest part about any project is starting it. Putting pen to paper in a way that convinces people to, literally at times, buy into this baby you are creating can be challenging and daunting. Because I knew this project was meant to be my big calling card after college, I really went through all the hoops to ensure it not only showcased my skills, but my heart. I found out about Cameron's Coffee and Chocolate Cafe through my roommate. She minored in special education and during one of her classes Cameron and Ellen did a presentation on their nonprofit, every1canwork. My roommate was over the moon about them, which got me very excited as well and thus the first email was sent.
